I have signed up to photobucket and have managed to import one of my photos into the library section. Somehow, it is now doing a autobackup and seems to be accessing the 'My pictures' bit of the computer and is taking ages to 'copy' them. I don't like it and I want it to stop but I don't know what to do. Please help.

I will katburd, thanks for your help.
To uninstall Photobucket Backup click on your Start button then got to All Programs, scroll down to Photobucket and click on it, you should then get an option to uninstall it.

I have uninstalled Photobucket Back up, SlackAlice. I have done what you suggested.

It's the rest of it I can't seem to get rid of.

The rest of what exactly?

SlackAlice, when I go on to the photobucket website it remembers me and it has all my photos.
I don't want my photos on there. I want them back!
Cont + Alt + Del then Applications= end task ?
Also make sure it doesnt auto start when you start your PC.

Tilly2 has already deleted the programme, so that wouldn't work.

Tilly2
Just go back into your account at Photobucket and delete them, job done ☺
Morning Tilly2, just wondering if Photobucket Customer service solved the problem that you were having.

Morning, katburd. Nice of you to ask.

I didn't get a reply and I have since had another email about all the different things I can do with my photos now that they are safely stored with photobucket. I have not signed into the site since.

I tried to delete them as SlackAlice suggested but I couldn't do it 'en mass' They have to be done individually, as far as I can see, and there are over a thousand.

I suppose if they are stored safely and privately on the Photobucket site you may get used to using and liking their site, are your pictures still stored on your computer as well as on the photobucket site? if not I wouldn't delete them in case you lose them all together.
Hi Tilly, sorry you haven't got things sorted yet. If you want to delete your Photobucket account you need to select the little arrow next to your user name, then user settings, select account, the delete option is at the bottom of the page.
Dont give up on Photobucket, it is a great site, I use it all the time and I have never installed anything. It is just a website, no need to install anything.

Why not try just setting up a "disposable" account as a trial but do not install anything and make sure you read everything before ticking boxes etc, //do not sync anything.//
