Sally Bercow Not Attending Thatchers Funeral ?

Front page of the Sunday Times today. Sally Bercow won't be attending the Thatcher funeral next week, as she believes that she ushered in a "very greedy and selfish society"

Bit of an embarrassment for her husband and the rest of the Tory party I would have thought. Perhaps Thatchers wasn't the only woman in parliament with balls after all !

So the story here is married couple hold different political views.

I'm not exactly a fan of her, I'm surprised she doesn't invite the press to watch her pee but I do admire the fact she doesn't kowtow to false beliefs because of who her husband is.

I see her name popping up quite often. Am I wrong in thinking that she is a bit of an attention seeker? If so would this not be a good way to get her name in the papers again?

Not sure why the spouse of the speaker should automatically be invited in the first place.

If I did not like Thatcher, I too would not take unpaid leave from work to attend.
