Hi i am trying to save up for a macbook i am planning on to sell on ebay
i have a few things in mind. that may sell on ebay. but need to know what sells the best on ebay
What you may think is rubbish someone else may need. If you have something that is discontinued someone may need spare parts for their item etc. if you have something that is too good to give to charity give it a go.
I sold a lot of items a few years ago as my children reached their teenage years and then bought myself a laptop and a printer.
If you have a lot of items and want what you can get for them, list them all with a starting price 10% less than the minimum you want for them and see how they go.
Go on ebay and search for items you have to sell, then click on advanced search> completed listings. You will see the actual prices that the items got. Then price your items according to what you have found.
You will need to check how much postage to charge as prices went up a lot last week and some bulky (albeit light in weight) items are not cost effective to sell by post.
Agree re the postage - you must be sure to charge the correct amount, plus a bit for your packaging. There is a good chart on the Royal Mail website, or you can pick up a leaflet from your PO. Don't guess - weigh and measure the things before you list them.
