Cd/dvd Burner Faulty

bought myself a new dell 3521 the other day but as I am burning tracks from a cd to I tunes the driver will only play certain tracks.and any cd over 13 tracks it cannot read?????

It sounds like a software issue to me (although I may be wrong). Try ripping the cd's with another program, like Windows Media Player and see if that is any different.
