Has anyone been there ,what's it like? We are considering taking our granddaughter but is there a lot of walking envolved or do you drive round?

We went a couple of years ago and it was good for youngsters. it's all walking, though not too much, and the obligitory train ride. 7/10

right then thats a no go as I cant walk the length of meself! so back to the drawing board !

Don't they have any mobility scooters (my daughter always tries to sit me on one at B&Q)
I've been there many times as it's very local to me. There is a lot of walking but there is the road train and you can hop on and off that at various points in the park. They do have mobility scooters (or they did last time I went) but you'd probably need to book that in advance. Most of the enclosures can be viewed from the paths which are pretty level.
If you are intending to use the road-train check first that it is running - it wasn't the day I went.
I've been many times, but not for a while now. I went with a disabled friend last time. As a badge holder he was able to drive round, don't know if that has changed now, though. If you struggle with walking, try Longleat instead, it's fun for all
