I feel badly for her; it's everyone's dream to own a house. Hope she had home owners insurance.

Apparently the auctioneer did give warnings that there may be structual damage!
Yup.....and she failed to get a survey carried out.

Daft moo....and who on earth wouldn't get a survey carried out on a large house, in that location selling for £154,000?? Alarm bells would be ringing even in my empty head!
Sorry, no sympathy here. She didn't even view it, obviously more money than sense.
society , No insurance company would have taken that house on, it was a certainty that it as going fall down.
The buyer will now probably lose her London house as well, the court ordered her to pay the agent who sold it and he has taken an 'intrest' in her London house to ensure he gets paid.
Oh well, life sucks sometimes.

Can not believe anyone would buy a house without viewing it or getting a survey done.

Even the low price should have made her think that there was something seriously wrong with the house?

I can feel sorry for her stupidity, but sometimes the stupid just don't help themselves.
