Here's a theory... they all died in the crash. What other explanation could there be for their clothes still looking good as new?

I think they are al living off each others fantancies
I did agree with the 'already dead' theory but then if they had died in the crash clare wouldnt of had her baby! I cant wait to see what they come up with at the end though! Ive already seen series 2 and it is AMAZING! wont spoil it for anyone though! There are websites that list all the theoris people have and its very intesresting, im not a geek i promise and i do get out of the house (sometimes)!
that would explain why you never see any of them gathering food, it would take for ever to gather food for that many people and their resident fish catcher left on a raft!! x x

Why hasn't the fat guy lost any weight?

I would have thought a harsh life on an island was a godsend of a slimming aid? I accept that's probably just a continuity issue and not relevent to the plot, but it bugs me, nevertheless.

Perhaps they're on an island with naturally occuring pies!
thats amazing twinkle2! How did you get to see series 2 when its not even finished? Personaly, im up to eposode 11 which was shown in the states last night and episode 12 hasn't even been finished!
They are all dreaming the exact same dream!!

New clothes? Maybe they just raided the luggage belonging to those who didn't survive the crash.

I have a question. How did the Black Rock (the slave ship from where the dynamite was taken) manage to find its way into the middle of the island?

Didn't Locke say it my have been a Tsunami?

Maybe the island itself is moving slowly. And over time, the ship has shifted to where it is now. The "Moving Island" theory would explain the presence of polar bears, how the French woman's (her name escapes me) research vessel ran around 16 years ago, and how a small aircraft from Nigeria crashed there. The island is moving about and just "picking up" these people/beasts as it goes along.

Daft I know, but I just thought I'd throw that one out there.

Now, as for the polar bears... presumably you've noticed that they featured in the comic the kid was reading on the island... the same comic that the fat guy was reading on the plane prior to the crash. I think an earlier episode suggested that the kid was able to make his thoughts real, so perhaps the whole thing is in his imagination. I don't know why i started this, it's such a daft series, but curiously you have to watch it.
because there is a primark just behind the camp.
ok, ok, i meant some of series 2! not as much as you though, only upto episode 9! still great though! x

i'm sure its all to do with mike's kid.... series two is ace, was gonna stop watching it, but it then got all exciting again........
