Quaking in my boots here! what can they do?

I'd just stop paying them a billion month full stop! Do you just yearn for the PM, of any political hue, to tell these Eurocrats to take a long walk off a short pier? I'd even vote Labour if they saved us from this regular hassle from our "friends" across the channel!

i would do it, tell them to go to blazes, time our MP's and PM got some backbone.
It seems almost daily yet another reason rears its ugly head for us to get out NOW.

Don't expect Cameron to do anything, too weak. Millipede, well depends what mood his union paymasters are in at the time, and Clegg? Well he is just waiting to get back onto the Euro gravy train with Kinnokio and friends once he is unceremoniously dumped on his backside.
Yep, long over due.
what happens if more problems occur within the banking sector in say Spain, Italy, Greece, will the boot boys go in and take depositors money as they have in Cyprus, what a scandal that is.

There'll be a devotee along in a minute to explain why the EU is a wonderful institution and that if you can't see that you must be a little Englander or some such appelation.
All I need to know is that it's a story about the EU in the Express to know I don't have to read it

I might as well listen to what North Korea has to say about the United States as what Dirty Dicky Desmond has to say about the EU.

He's probably terrified the EU might start to look into his porn empire

and there you are x

right on cue jake! So the Express has made the whole thing up??
you couldn't make it up x x x
But it qualifies as a non-story in that it's a glimpse of the bleeding obvious. We all know that there are EU principles about fairness and that anything we do will be looked at. There is no suggestion there that what is proposed breaches those rules; other member states whose rules are more stringent than ours would be "unfair" if that were so, and what we propose only makes us like them, doesn't it ?
EM 10, you say what will happen,if there is more banking problems in say Spain Italy , and Greece. Look no further than your own front door, It could well happen here in the UK . We are more in debt here per head ,than any of the three countries that you have mentioned lets get our own house in order first before we start being critical. There but for the grace of ??? go I....
ah but we don't have the euro, that's a saving grace surely.
em 10, you are so correct about not having the euro , but the UK sterling GBP is becoming weaker.
