I've had my neighbours grandson for three hours this afternoon - so gran can go to Sainsmorricos and take half the time it would with a very inquisitive 3 year old. 'Thomas' comes striding into my kitchen, rubbing his hands, asking if the kettle is on! Skip spies him and shoots off upstairs under the bed, and no amount of coaxing with a chewy-bone is going to get him out! He then asks me if the television is broken (I don't watch TV so it wasn't on) - he then asks me what's for dinner! I told him he wasn't staying for dinner, he promptly informed me 'he might if he likes it!' He's now chatting up my daughter just in from college....

awww bless him Spikey...but how old is your daughter (maybe he likes older women ;))
How lovely for you. I bet you have enjoyed his company.
My two year old grandaughter was watching me a few weeks back trying to fit some videos into a box, and they were not going and I was trying different ways. She very calmly and clearly said "They wont fit in there".
Yes, thank you very much you clever 2 year old, think I.

My daughter is 17 qom, he said to her 'and what do you do for a living!' she explained she was at college - like big school. No, he said, you work with the animals at the dogs home (she does part time!)

I love his company, he' a bright, sturdy little chap - he's got these big eyes and long lashes and the cheekiest grin
He sounds adorable

Oh grassy, you'd love him - you forget that you're talking to a child sometimes - he doesn't like nursery for instance, because 'it's for babies', and he' not over-enamoured by cartoons either - too noisey! he loves music and to draw, or read to him.
He sounds terrifying, not called Damien is he?

;-)
You are so right. I loved the fact he was thinking of staying to eat. My grandson is just turned 4. Lovely age.
