Is this viable? How much a return would you need to be promised to buy into this fund?

There seems to be considerable differences in various reports on quantities.......perhaps not a good sign as one should take a conservative view to hedge against low prices......agree with MT in his implication that the impact of shale may well prove to be somewhat hollow.......we really need to incentivise offshore N.Ireland exploration, perhaps the best area left for triggering some decent sized finds.

Shale oil has not come on stream yet. The Glut is expected in the next 10 years, which is the time it will take to get the mediteranean fields (if they exist) on stream.

The Mediterranean Oil Dispute is a current political incident and standoff between the Republic of Cyprus and Turkey, and potentially affecting other neighbouring states in the Eastern Mediterranean, such as Israel, Lebanon, and Egypt. The breakaway territory of Northern Cyprus also advocates its interests as part of the dispute. //
