Canon Printer Is Printing Out Smudgy, Help!!!!

Hi
My canon mp495 printer as started printing out smudgy and with writing all out of line with lines through the writing

I changed the ink cartridge so dont know weather its to do with that or not.

Ive done some of the maintainance tasks like cleaning the printer and they seemed to print ok but still not printing out documents right, any one any idea what i can do.

I bought my Canon printer a few months ago for £24.95...that included the two cartridges. If I need refills they will cost more than that.

I think the moral is, don't replace cartridges...just buy a new printer.
