Hi - can anyone advise please? When I click on a desktop icon it only opens into a small screen which I have to maximise every time, it has only just started to do this and is very annoying. How can I get files to open into full screen please? Ta in advance!

Forgot to say I'm on Windows XP.
Don't know if this will work but it looks reasonable enough to try it. I'm on Vista but I imagine there's a similar path to something like this on XP.
start>control panel>folder options>view>check the 'remember each folders view' box
Then once you've opened and maximised the file/folder it 'might' remember..
Don't know though...worth a try?
Instead of clicking the 'maximise' button, drag the edges of the window out until the window fills the screen.

For some strange reason (known only to the programmers at Microsoft) Windows remembers that setting for future use, but can't remember simply 'maximising' a window.
