for mothers day. Not enough vases & too heavy for mine. How can I suggest plants without seeming ungrateful ?

i work on the theory that all house plants should be just that - plants and they get planted in the garden. it is up to them what they decide to do - live or die.

I have said this before just recently - my mum used to please don't buy me flowers cos you can't eat them or drink them ( a wee voddy or two) please

tambo - garden plants
alba - plants for the garden
conne - vodka
me - bunches of flowers.

I got mine a m&s voucher for€50 she loves that place so can get whatever she wants....no point in having a houseful of flowers that die when she can have something that lasts.

Have not been yet ...we did go to spend her Xmas vouchers....she got loads of stuff and was like a cat with the cream going home with all those bags !!
