If there is such a thing as truth serum which makes people tell the truth and I believe there is and I know from the Jeremy Kyle show that lie detector tests are over 90% accurate, I think that these two procedures could be used by the law courts to save time and money? Perhaps they don't use them as it would put them out of a job.

the correct phrase is 'killer truth serum'

The usual candidate is indeed thiopentone - and is meant to be used in small doses not more than 1 mg/kg. 5mg/kg will induce sleep. Vets use it to euthanaze animals using much larger doses.

The difficulty is that it just doesnt work
oops it does for anesthesia and euthanasia

but not as a truth serum - sorry killer truth seruk

as for lie detectors being 90% accurate
was Jeremy K wired up to one when he told that porkie ?
And the classic psychopaths, the premeditating killers, are so cold and impassive that it's odds on that they would pass any test of this type. They really can't distinguish between truth and lies; once they have told themselves that the lie is the truth, it is the truth as far as they see it and respond to it.
Yes it called dragons breath there is a documents you can watch on you tube think it is called the most dangorose drug in the world. Wouldn't think it could be used in law courts

I do not belive the lie detector are as accurate as claimed and the accuracy is dependent on how carefully the questions are asked and the interpretation the subject make of the question would you trust Jeremy Kyle
