My friend is looking to buy a Freehouse pub, and he would like to buy some some old country items for display. Is there somewhere he could go to get items like this? (like a warehouse or specialist company) He would rather not have to pay auction or retail prices.

the majority of pub chains buy their "olde worlde" interior fittings from auction, so your friend would be unlikely to find much for less than auction prices. He could try a few car boot sales, and may get lucky. There are some great bargains to be had at auction, especially if He's prepared to travel to some of the smaller town or village auctions.

Anywhere near Lancashire? I know of a firm that do supply these sort of things to pubs etc.

The pub is just outside Gloucester - does your firm spudQueen do national delivery? or do they have a website?
