Gmail Account

I've got a gmail account, and signed the OH up for one a few days ago, but now find it very annoying that his account appears to have become the default one - how can I get my own account to come up first please? thank you.

If you are accessing directly through gmail, then the easiest way to keep them apart is to start two different browser windows.

For instance you could sign-in to your gmail using a firefox window and his with a chrome or IE window.

If you are using Windows then set up two totally separate Windows user accounts. This is very easy to do in Windows.

Then you can have YOUR own desktop, favorites and so on, and HE can have his own desktop, favorites and so on.

In our house we have a Windows PC with a separate user acount for 4 members of the family and each person can make Windows look and feel as they wish.

When you turn the PC on you "logon" to your own particular Windows account.

If youre accessing it via a browser then if neither of you logs out then it will default to the last person logged in to gmail.

even if you open multiple windows accounts, that will only work as long as you dont access each others Windows account and then gmail

Separate browsers is the best way. One of you take chrome and the other firefox :)

not if youre accessing it via a browser, not unless gmail has started doing family/group accounts then maybe you could.

I believe Firefox has an add-on that will let set a primary account if you have multiple accounts, not sure about other browsers

That's what I was looking for Ratter, but from the suggestions here I think that I will set up seperate user accounts - thank you all very much for your suggestions.
