Which is more irritating the current Pizza Hut add or the 118 118 series or maybe neither of these compare to the old Griff Rees Jones's Vauxhall ads

All ads are irritating and they always turn the volume up when they start, i push the mute button as soon as they come on.
I think the ads on digital are far louder than 'normal' TV Also I hate the ad with the green car with all the wheels etc falling off. I just have to turn over . And why do ITV and Channel 4 and 5 always put their adverts on at the same time? Makes me watch BBC for a few minutes. Also I think the ads in Corrie are getting longer than the programme.
The 118 118 ad may be irritating, but its the only 'directory enquiries' number I can remember!
The most irritating ad for me is the Yoplait advert - give me yop me mamma! I hate the grotesque mouth business, but the most annoying thing is that the blessed tune sticks in your head for hours afterwards!!!!
I must be sad but I like the 118 118 adverts! However, I have a skyplus box and tape everything, so that when the adverts come on I can just fast forward thru them! That is the best way!
It's the programme trailers on BBC1 that drive me mad. They start weeks before the programme's due to air and then the same ones are repeated ad nauseum in every break. I don't watch that much TV honest , but every break when I do , the same trailers....!!!!

I agree that those 118 118 ads are pretty irritating. Even worse is the add for confused.com, it really annoys me !!

Worst things for me are not actual ads (although I guess they are in a way) but those stupid little sponsor's idents at the beginning and end of commercial breaks on sponsored programmes on ITV/Channel 4/Sky. I think they're meant to be funny, but they are uniformly pathetic. It almost spoils Shameless for me (fortunately, the programme is good enough to rise above it). A part ends, usually with either a very funny moment or a mini-cliffhanger, and suddenly we're treated to the 118118 goons "hilariously" (yeah, right) acting something out. It only lasts a few seconds but makes me want to break something. If you want to sponsor a programme, fine, but leave the comedy to those who can do it.

Sorry, but I feel better for getting that off me chest. :-)
