When and if I get my mortgage sorted - I have been wanting a new kitchen - I guess at the end of the year. My cabinets are fine, electricity fine you know strip lights etc - everything is in its place - all I really want are the doors covered ie the kitchen doctor - I have got 2 (kitchen doctors) in all together but they don't want to do the job saying oh we can't guarantee this and that. Has had anybody their kitchen done this way and was it a success I dread to pay £12,000 for bloody cupboards that are there and just need being covered. I am also aware there are tiles, labour and other bits and bobs. What is your opinion.

Tsk, to slow again, shows the power of Google though :-)
Proves something anyway.
Thanks guys was beginning to think Conne wanted me to build the blasted thing!!
Do you know anyone who could make you doors? My husband made doors out of MDF and we painted them, got new hinges and handles. Looks like a brand new kitchen for a fraction of the price.
Changing the doors is the simplest of simple jobs for a chippy, or for that matter a half decent handyman.
Which is what i said in my first answer MT

thanks all for your answers - I am aware that it is an easy enough option to change doors but the guy I used (carpenter) I have just heard he is going through heart surgery this month - I think his son was the real macoy regarding the kitchen so at the moment I don't really want to impose on them at this sad time for them when they buried their sister 6 months ago. PS Fried Green - would you build the blasted thing for me hahhahahhaah
