Sounds as if one one more of your system / application files is behaving erratically maybe as as a result of memory conflicts/data corruption or badly written program code. Does the problem only occur when running a specific program? If so try uninstalling / reinstall that particular program.

You could also perform a system Hard Disk check to try and eliminate any potential disk file index errors.

- Windows Start>All Programs>Accessories
- Right Click on 'Command Prompt'
- Select 'Run as Administrator'
- In the 'black box' 'Command Prompt' window that opens up, type the text
CHKDSK /F and then press the enter/return key on the keyboard
- Answer Y to the question that will appear, i.e. press the Y key on keyboard follow by press enter/return key
- Restart your system
- As the system starts up it will automatically perform a check of your Disk system and attempt a repair of any potential errors it finds
- Let the process run / finish and the system will then start up as normal

Funny that I started getting this too in last day or so.

did that and it did do a disc check so went back onto ebay and it still comes up stack overflow on certain sellers listings so maybe its them and not my problem do you think?
As a test, try using a different browser.

Assuming you are using IE try Firefox or Opera.

http://www.opera.com/

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

It could be one of the browser add-ons is in conflict with other programs.
Question Author
i use IE so would i look in tools for the add on and then disable them pinkyboyid?
To check for and disable add-ons in IE:

- Select 'Tools>Manage Add-ons'
- Select 'Toolbars and Extensions'
- Click the Add-on name and then select 'Disable'

Suggest you then restart the browser before checking if the problem 'goes away'. If you do find an add-on that is the problem, you can try reinstalling it, e.g Adobe Flash Player etc. (it might be worth reinstalling / updating Adobe Flash Player as a first step anyway!)

To re-enable the add-on it is basically the same procedure but select 'Enable' instead.
