Sorry, the clue is "yawning, having consumed a number of feasts". Think I'm reading the right magazine! There's no hope!

"Agapae" was what I would have thought, but can find no definition.
Agapae are feasts in the Orient.
Not necessarily in the Orient "a banquet or gathering of persons to promote good feeling, restore friendly relations, honour a special guest, etc." Early Christianity.
