Winter Wonderland

WOW - we have just got back from a healthy walk along the riverbank near to our house, taking photographs of the snow while it is still pure white and untrodden in! I don't think I have ever seen such beautiful snowy scenery before except on Christmas cards. The snow is really deep, the river is mostly frozen and it was so peaceful there under the trees. The snowy branches framed the paths and the river. As there are a few waterfalls along the way too, it was so photogenic, I must have taken 200 photos! What an enjoyable afternoon, now enjoying a warming cuppa!
