I'm taking 35mg of Amitriptyline at night for Fibromyalgia. It says to avoid alcohol. Would it be OK to have a glass of wine with my Christmas dinner?

yes! just be prepared.....it may enhance the sedative effect of the amitriptyline and you may end up snoozing in the afternoon!!! do NOT drive afterwards, tho. i take loads of drugs (fentanyl, cocodamol, pregabaline, quetiapine, venlafaxine among others) and get royally pissed all the time. and i'm a nurse (!). how about practising this afternoon and...

I'll try it later today then and see what happens! I don't intend having a lot, but it would be nice to have a small glass! Thanks.
