Why are there no good music videos being made these days they all look the same and few even try and develope the songs lyrics?

I could say that the whole music industry is going downhill these days but i would get accused of being an oldie! (boy bands, girl bands, manufactured bands, plain and simply $h1te bands)

btw can someone explain to me how Pink got to number 1 with "Just like a pill" please? God awful song, badly played, lyrics (if i dare use the word) are terrible "And I swear you're just like a pill, Instead of making me better, You keep making me ill" - how the hell can you be described as being like a pill AND keep making her ill? i just don't get it
