been through a lot health wise..not least liver transplant...surprised he lasted so long..but likeable character when interviewed....
Yes sad news. Dallas was the best of those dramas. I remember being hooked when it started.
Very sad :o(
I read an interview with him last week, the reason his disapeared from the recent Dallas series is because he was under going treatment but he claimed to have beaten it.

So sad but how nice to hear that his co stars and good friends were with him at the end.
Oh, how sad. He was the "true" villain. RIP

He was on the One Show a few weeks ago and he looked rather 'grey' then. I'm really shocked. How sad.
so did i for a time,
I'm gutted! Grew up watching him, loved the new series
Anyone as old enough as me to remember him in "I dream of Jeannie"?
Yes, I'm afraid I do, plautus.
Yep, I used to love that show, pluatus.
(sp) plautus.
I used to watch 'Dallas' but with the sound turned off, a lot lass boring.
Yes and he was adorable in Jeannie, funnily enough I only realised that was a very attractive Larry Hagman tonight
I liked Jeannie.
what was it? master to mecca? lol
I'm shocked in one way as he had resurrected (pun intended) his role as JR and the new series had been popular. Remember him singing with his mum at the royal variety, by accident mind, he'd fluffed his lines,
he played the character you loved to hate in Dallas.... just couldn't wait to see what he'd be getting up to next .........
You would, Tony!
