Favourite Malts tend to be Islay - Lagavulin & some of the more exotic Bowmores ...

... but I'm also partial to a Highland malt every now & then too - just finished a bottle of Edradour 12yo and got a cheap bottle of Aberlour 10yo from the Co-op the other day - both very nice indeed.
Now you're talking, sunny dave
okay. i'm with you on the malts. just drink them. never use for cooking.
Now the Tokaji is not a bad buy - for those of you who like a "sticky"

I like to have a glass as an aperitif and maybe one of my buys for Christmas Day evening...........
Had the Scapa, dave? I like the Lagavulin too.....
now should i go to the drinks cupboard and get the lagavulin out. or should i restrain myself. decisions, decisions, decisions. that's three glasses.
Question Author
Not tried the Scapa, DT - but am partial to a Highland park if anyone is offering :)
And there's Laphroaig
£35.99 a bottle? You must be even more expensive to run than the bike. It's prefereable to get the pre-2002 vintages, before Esteban retired; he was known to cognoscenti for being the best at cutting the sugar cane just right.
Keep an eye out for it, dave; I like the Highland Park too......

Going rate is around £45-£50 plus delivery jno ... hence the interest in Aldi's stock.
Local Co-Op selling bottle of Bells scotch for £18.35 (70 cl) but a litre of same scotch for £18.00. ???
Same thing at Tesco. litre of Gordon's gin £1 cheaper than 70 cl.
the batemans ale sounds nice and I fancy that rum myself

I am also strangely drawn to the shoes.......
How about those flash looking wellies, rowan ?.
