Have you ever used or been attempted to use the C word. I hate the word. Today I was sorely tempted to use it, but managed to bite my tongue, even though I made it bleed.

Swearing ain't ladylike

Ladettes swear
Swearing doesn't make you a "ladette", Joe.

They're only words!
It's totally hypocritical of me as I eff and blind all day but I cannot use that word and I cringe when I hear it, especially from women.
i have used it frequently when the need arises.

I am guilty of bloody, bugger, and soddit.
No way would I go further, sorry.
I'm always amused at peoples attitude to swear words.

I used to work with someone who didn't like bad language but would often describe her grandchild as a 'little sod' or a 'cheeky bugger'.

She's isn't alone in thinking these words are mild, I find it quite baffling.
It's a word I don't use but apparently it's a useful thing
