Is there anywhere on a product description that tells you all the prices a specific item has previously sold at?

There's something I want which seems to jump from £350-£400 but noticed one of the reviews said they purchased for £270 so I wanted to get an idea of how often it went down to that price (and try and work out if it's likely to again)

If it is an item that anybody can list, then the price is whatever that seller lists it for. There is no way that you can find the history of how much it has been sold for in the past, as is possible in the Ebay completed listings which gives recent history.
Not exactly about the thread but be careful when buying from Amazon. Oh looked the other day for cover for her mobile on Amazon and asked me to order it for her. Before doing this I put the details into Google and another one the same came up on E-bay so I took a look. Everything about it was the same and it was from the same seller but at less than half the price. So always best to look before purchasing.
No, there's no record of the prices charged in the past .
I bought a watch from Amazon and watched the price vary from £469 down to £350 and then up again.. then down.. then up...like a yo-yo....every few days for months.
I was lucky to get it at the lowest price it was offered at - you just have to keep your eyes open.
I noticed that they have upped the price of their iPad mini to well over £300 as most other sites and shops have sold out. Also they want to sell their Kindle Fire!

I always do Shedman. With this item Amazon is consistently the cheapest.

Guess I'll just have to keep my eye out for a bit and see if it drops in price. Might get lucky in January I suppose.
Spooky...spooky... I've just received an email from Amazon telling me that this very watch is £399... £50 more than I paid months ago.
Am I being "watched"?
Yes, Ginge. These sites keep a record of what you've been looking at as you'll see when they come up with the "recently viewed" items.
heathfield: that I can understand. But this email came just minutes after I posted the above answer here on AB! Just co-incidence?

Would you believe that today its only ruddy gone down to £270! Now I have a dilemma...
Ooh Evi, if it's what I think you're going to buy, then buy it, I want to know if it works ;)

I'm soooo tempted Rocky! Desperately want it but hadn't planned on it this month so hadn't budgeted for it. I've text my sister to ask what she thinks. Her decision is final. I hope she says yes. lol
