Is it better to use antibacterial soap rather than normal soap?

It depends what for. If you have acne, sometimes antibacterial soap can be helpful, but it tends to be harsher than normal soap. There is good evidence that living in an environment purged of germs is very bad for your immune system. Also you exist in a symbiotic relationship with the microbes on your skin. If you disturb this too heavily, such as disinfecting yourself, then you are more, not less, likely to develop infections.
