Well this is a complete coincidence - but I too am having some green mould issues! Not major like the one below - but certain 'nubuck' shoes seem to like growing this mould... even though I have moved them right next to the front door - so they get fresh air when the door is open.

Once mould has grown on something.. does it keep coming back. Can you get rid of it and if so what with? Some of our skirtings seem to have it (all ones attached to external walls) and so I have just wiped with hot soapy water... but am wondering how to sort shoes ! Other than wiping them.

What is causing this - its doing my head in!
Thanks!

Nubuck shoes need to be cleaned and waterproofed regularly Nosha. Kiwi have a good range of products and if you spray their Multi-purpose protector on your shoes after cleaning them it should stop the mould.
