I have a place which I have located on Google Maps and would like to save the image to My Documents with a view to sending it on as an email attachment. Can this be done? I will be most grateful for any help/advice you can give me.

Either use printscreen, or if you have windows 7 use the snipping tool

Or just click the link icon at the top of the google maps page and send them the link to the exact thing your looking at.
