I have heard that the sony clie tg50 has sortware that enables you to programme it for all your remote controls. Is this true and if so are there any other models that have this?

My Bang & Olufsen remote control works the TV, video, radio, cd, record player, audio tape, satellite, lights and curtains. And it's always in the room where I need it. What's the value of having a palm held machine to do this when you'll be hiking it all over the place ?

the Sony site doesn't say that it comes with such software (which doesn't mean it doesn't), however it runs the Palm OS and there are 3rd party remote control applications available. P.S. I wouldn't be without my PDA!

Thanks LeMarchand, a nice chap at Dixons has informed me that it has got remote software with it. Fingers crossed that I have chosen the right PDA(can't beat Sony, can you?).
I have an Ipaq and there is remote control software for that but it is an extra purchase
