Cheaper phone /broadband

We are with One-tel ,we have broadband and a deal that gives us free local calls ,we also pay our line rental to them. This months bill is �62 ; I think that is really expensive, can anyone recommend a better deal with a different company ,please ?? Many thanks.

That sounds very expensive, unless you are making a lot of calls that are not included in the package.

One Tel are among the cheapest companies though - have a look at Carphone Warehouse TalkTalk as an alternative but I don't think there will be much in it.

�10.50 line rental (BT) plus �15 to �20 broadband plus ??a tenner at most for the calls package should be achievable. Where's the other �20 odd come from?

Info rather than an answer. I have phone, cable TV (including Sky sports) and 1 meg broadband form ntl. Monthly bill (including phone calls) is about �66.

Homecall do a package for �25 per month that gives you broadband + all non-premium UK phone calls.

Plus you need line rental approx �10 per month.
