Retrieving sent messages from Trash in Yahoo

A month time ago, I sent a message which I now need to retrieve. Is there an easy, quick way to do this? My Trash folder seems to empty itself after only about 20 messages. Is there a way of returning to manually deleting permanently?

If you're using the yahoo as web based, no definitely not.

And if you don't want things deleted then don't delete them, you wouldn't store anything you want to keep in your kitchen bin so why would you store something you want to keep in your email bin. if you don't want mails permanently stored in your inbox or sent items then create folders to store them in rather than deleting them.
