Half the 'page' on my Kindle has gone grey, if I look closely it's vey fine black lines. Is there anyway I can get rid of this or is it damaged? Could it have been going through xray at the airport?

Probably not.

I broke my screen, with similar symptoms, after sitting on it with it in my back pocket.

I did warm Mr M about putting his duty free on top of it! Ah well I guess thats my Christmas present sorted. Thanks for your answer xx
