This looks good - but not exactly cheap.

Hiya wolfe...I'm not on FB...

The Thundershirt reminds me that I've read that putting an old, close fitting t-shirt on an animal can help. Cheaper too. ;-))
The Thundershirt is amazing. My friends got one for their dog for when they go out and he just goes to sleep the minute they put it on him. This was after many other attempts to stop him fretting. I can recommend it.
I'm sure that I have heard that they are good - but it is a lot of money.

I was lucky in that neither of my two dogs were nervous - they made people nervous! The one that we had from a puppy was a huge soft lump but the rescue dog was a psycho. I love them both so much.
Not a lot of money when you think how much damage they can do in your home in a couple of hours. Or the cost of a dog sitter. Or the peace of mind that comes with knowing your dog is all snug, not stressed, and fast asleep while you are out.

For Sally it is a matter of getting her through the fireworks season-along with a (possibly connected) fear of night time walks in the park during the winter. She'll go out-then just dig her heels in at certain pathways. Sometimes her walk is all of 10 minutes as she just doesn't want to be out.

I see the Thundershirt is available for less on Amazon.
I find Zylkene helps but its expensive.
I'll be seeing the vet next week to get some tranquilisers for the wee dog. The fireworks have already started around here and there's nearly 3 weeks to go to Halloween.

There were a few BIG boooms here tonight. Poor Sally shivers over things I can't even hear. I'd like to bomb them all.....
