I was wondering if you could tell me what a good MPG is?

Or does it depend on a lot of factors?

Do you do a lot of stop / start driving fgt ?. Also do you think that she is using more petrol since she was serviced than she did before.
Fried, have you also noticed! you do not get a lot now for £20, them days are gone.
Well TWR, I know I've certainly bloody well noticed !

£20 doesn't even get me half a tank now!!

This is the first full week that I have used her since the service so i will know at the end if she is using more or less, in the morning on country roads its all go - until I hit the city - at night its a nightmare stop start out of the city and then stuck behind tractors
Well fgt, your return journey wont be helping your mpg figure, stop start and up and down the gears.

I know but hey I can't complain she is a real good car and she only cost me £500 7 years ago - the new engine didn't cost me bugger all as I got it on the insurance and the body work in spotless.

Can you tell how much I love my Zeb!!!
No fgt, I would never have known lol.
They had an expert on TV yesterday how to get more mpg for your car. In fact the person sitting next to him did just that and got about 20% more mpg.

The two main techniques are when changing up or down to miss intermediate gears so you could go from 2nd to top or vice versa. The other technique was to not to change down when coming to a junction but let the car coast down to a stop.

I wonder if he was right?
I can't see why either would save fuel
