My granddaughter and her fellow Brownies took part in the local Charity Fire Swim yesterday and she, personally, raised £25 . What the overall amount was, I don't know but she and the others really felt a sense of achievement.
I think it's great to give youngsters an opportunity to help others in such a practical way.
