Are there too many Pound shops in your area, two Discount shops side by side have opened in our local shopping centre and Poundstretcher nearby. Are they really bargain worthy.

scrub that, too many pounds.
Its a poundbasket, the poundland and poundstretcher are next door to each other.
The poundshop still closed though.
We would have to travel about 8 miles to get to a poundshop, one of the downsides to living in a village.
I buy my wild bird food etc from there - they do have some good things for parties as well so I will go and get stuff from there other than that I don't really bother with them
We've got a Home Bargains near us and I find it better than Poundland. I agree with Boo though, the taste of some stuff is slightly different, I bought some HP Sauce from a cheap shop a while back and it's definitely not the same as what you'd buy in Tesco, you probably wouldn't notice if you didn't use it often, but it was a waste of money to me.
That's what I meant by false economy, you think you're getting a bargain sometimes, but not if you have to go to Tesco etc for the real stuff after you've tasted it, lol.
Very true Boo, poundshops are very good for poo bags though :)
I love Home Bargains rocky, great bargains on kids toys for christmas
