Bought some lovely new suede boots on Saturday (no, not blue) by Monday there was a big splodge of mayo on them. How do I get it off?

You must be mental if you think I'm going to throw a pair of 5 day old boots in the bin.

Maybe something like dabbing white spirit on it to dissolve the grease, Evian ?

Fishman mayo...........bleeuugghhhh!

Would white spirit take the colour out of them?
If yo do use white spirit on them.....just be careful when you grind out a cigarette...LoL
Not sure about that Evian, could you not try it on a part that you can't see as a trial first, trying to think of things that would dissolve the grease, maybe surgical spirit or maybe even washing up liquid.
i am not mental, just practical. God help u in a real crisis

Lol Jack! Booooooom!!!!

Suppose they are worth a try Tony. I tried the soap suds suggestion from the first link but nothing happened.
maybe try like getting candle wax up - newspaper and an iron? the heat might help soak up the oils etc.

failing that, dye them black?
Put a matching splodge of mayo on the other boot, and call it a pattern.
