hollie, there's a really good place in Whitby where they produce lovely smoked fish - I can't remember exactly where, it's up a hill on the opposite side of the bay to the abbey. mrs overowl might enlighten.

I love those smoked kippers but i hate the bones! The smell is gorgeous. Visited Whitby lots of times but not been for a couple of years and for all the times i have been i have never eaten at the Magpie!! Sacrilege i know but will be finally going this time round.
Keep listening carefully Mrs O for somebody shouting "I'VE GOT CRABS"!

hollie, if you are in Whitby on a Saturday night, half the people under 25 end up shouting that out
