Hi All - saw lovely post just now from stevenj thanking folk for helping him with understanding the workings of cryptic crossword clues....I used to do the Daily Telegraph Cryptic years and years ago and became quite good at it, but it was a LONG time ago.
Now my question is this - were I to challenge my brain and start over and attempt a cryptic crossword which one do you people suggest would be a good one to choose? I take the Radio Times, the daily i and the Saturday Times. Any thoughts please? Thanks x

Of those, the RT is clearly the easiest.
Times addict here !
I attempt the Telegraph regularly and there's a very good site at http://bigdave44.com/ where daily puzzles are discussed with a lively band of solvers and setters. The Guardian has a crossword site which is free. The Telegraph site is £35c per annum, good luck

Appreciate the replies, thanks very much. The website looks interesting Dickiedot, I'll make a note of that, and as I take the RT anyway I will have a go, at lease I can study the answers to the previous week and work backwards to get the jist of things....
