went into my local supermarket, one of the big names, and saw 4 cans of an advertised apple alcoholic beverage, 440ml priced at £5.20, buy 2 for £8.50.
So far so good I thought , however, behind me were stacked boxes of ten 440ml cans @ £10. Faced with this dilemma I did what I thought to be my only option, I bought the 10 pack.
What would you have done?

Why can't you name them? I'm presuming you won't profit from any advertising?

I would have bought the 10.
I think beer and alcohol in gerneal has never been cheaper. The 660ml bottles of Cobra are £1:25 each in Tesco.
Buying the 10 pack works out the cheapest way so guess I would have done the same.
Depends if having 10 cans around would cause me to drink more.
Are you admitting to weakness around certain drinks Howard?

Talk about being encouraged to drink Tesco are selling a 70cl bottle of gin for £14, or 2 for £24, or 3 for £30!!
Sounds like a sweet deal to me baza.
any deals on vodka folks ?
Just look at the small print on the ticket to see how much per litre the product is. Stella Artois usually differs by as much as £1.70 a litre depending on the size of the can/bottle, and the number of units in the pack.

It generally ranges from £1.70 to £3+ a litre
