It's still November. I try to hang it out till 1st December so not long to go!
Are they having it again this year? When is it?
Are the Easter eggs in the shops yet? Yaaaaawwwn!
Bah, humbug.

My little girl is five months old, and I am so excited that I want to put my tree up and hang fairy lights out NOW!

littlemissx I was checking my hoarde of little sweeties to put in the advent calendar my mum made, couldn't help hiding a few choccy coins around the house for the kids (and me). Can't wait I love it as much as the kids.

glad i'm not the only one then xx
When Christmas cards start appearing in the shops in September it's difficult to feel excited about Christmas and I suspect the slump in retail sales is partly due to consumer objections at them trying to commercialise the whole business. Christmas doesn't really start for me until I switch on and hear the carols from Kings College on Christmas Eve !
I hope you are going to buy some more crackers for the others. Well on second thoughts, did you and the other girl put all the decorations up your self? I always found that it is usually me and another girl and nobody wants to lend a hand in putting them up.

we paid for them and we put them all up!!!
I thought so it is always the case. I get the odd cheeky person who complains that I have better decorations in my area than theirs. If they are not happy then they should go and get some more decorations and put them up themselves.
Yeahhhhh! I love going into town with the lights and people singing and old christmas tunes blaring out from shops!
I always love Crimbo time. Your message made me laugh out loud! Cheers for spreading some cheer!! Lights, good music, time with friends - it's great!
The run up to Christmas is my favourite time - Christmas itself is always a let down in comparison! Just love spending ages browsing for unusual gifts, wrapping mountains of presents, and putting up the decorations. I'm very strict about when they go up (12th December and not before) but I have to admit to gazing longingly at Christmas trees whenever I go past some. Can't wait - enjoy it whilst you can!
Christmas is a tough time for me. My mum died of cancer almost 3 years ago on 21st December. I try to get excited for my little girl tho - she's has just turned 3.
