what is it with wives these days , i just asked mine for a cuppa when she has a minute, and she rhymed of a list of things she is doing , does she forget its been three hours since she made breafast, she`s making tomorrow nights dinner, and tonights dinner , and sorting out the washing , so she`s all done before she goes to work tonight, surely she could fit in time to make a brew. im on a weeks annual leave, wouldnt you think she would glad to pamper me. you know what lads i think we are far too soft on them these days and they take advantage, my old gran would have done it without a blink

Mcfluff - you should have said what's a sock? Thank goodness, no-one darns now. Everything is very hardwearing and doesn't require darning.

well im surprised at how many husbands allow their wives to chat on the computers during the day , and how cheeky some can be , i showed my mrs the trouble she caused over delaying a simple cuppa, and pointed out that when i employed her as my wife twenty one years ago, she was more efficient. now allowing for age , she`s almost fifty, should i maybe help her out in the house or would that be a slight on her , and would that be hurtfull. you see lads women need a good man and appreciate having a purpose so treat them right and they will be irreplacable
My wife's getting very cheeky. Just the other day she said to me, “You're a lazy good-for-nothing layabout. Pack your bags and get out!”

I replied, “You pack my bags.”
