Every time I start up my computer I get a flag, bang in the centre of my desktop; 'FsUsbExService,Msg.' failed FsUsbExService, No existing FsUsbEx device. What does this mean please? I have tried 'System restore', but it still remains.

Have you got a Samsung phone? Installed Samsung Kies?
Question Author
Yes rojash, and this started after I tried to transfer some pics from the phone.
Try this.
Uninstall the software
Restart the machine.
If all well, download the latest version and install.

It sounds as though you might have unplugged the phone or restarted the machine before the transfer had finished. I don't have a Samsung phone, so can't say for sure, but it may also be necessary to eject or "safely remove" before disconnecting the phone.
Just occurred to me, that you might solve the problem by simply connecting the phone before turning on the computer.

Did the latter and it worked. Thanks rojash, you are a star!
