Did you mean over or underactive thyroid? they both have quite different symptoms.
Question Author
It would be useful to know the symptoms of both. Thanks.
there are plenty of good medical sites on the web like net- doctor.co.uk or surgerydoor.co.uk that can give you more details than I could, but having suffered with an underactive thyroid I can tell you that symptoms are weight gain, constantly feeling cold, exhaustion, constipation, high blood pressure, erratic periods, sluggish metabolism and depression there probably are other symptoms that you should maybe look up. Symptoms for overactive thyroid include always feeling hungry, feeling hot and sweating, erratic periods, being over active and having a mind that is "racing". seeing a doctor is advisable if you think you have either of these conditions.

Increased thyroid amounts improve the metabolism and increase a number of body systems. Hyperthyroidism happens slowly but surely and in the very first phase it might not display any signs and symptoms. In some cases, the signs are confusing or unnoticed. An individual commonly recognizes the severity of the signs and symptoms in case the health problem triggers many other health conditions. Understanding the signs and symptoms of hyperactive thyroid

can help steer clear of deterioration of the problem.
