to laptop. do you need some sort of connector, as have lots of photo to transfer, and as it's a newish phone, not sure how it's done. In other words do all mobile come with a connector? if so not sure what done with it. Can't find instruction booklet either, hence asking for help.

you don't need Kiess anyway, Samsung or not
In fact, if you;re a bit of a technophobe that, IMO, make sit more complicated
It's easy to get pics from a Samsung, use the cable supplied and follow instructions
Question Author
ok this is what i have done, plugged cable that bought today, into mobile
samsung S3350 then into laptop. there has been no instructions pop up as would have noticed by now.
yes it is, this software is too much for me, it still needs a cable, which i can't find, and so i'll stick to the memory card reader.
I can't find how to uninstall it now, it doesn;t come up in the programa dn features in control panel where i usually remove programs and when i go i into the file in proram files there is only the uninstall option on the desk top icon : (
ok, go into my computer and open that up
Then click on the mobile phone

Question Author
sorry having another shot at this, in computer, icon for mobile appears, tells you to right click, the pop up box says this device has no driver. I tried downloading the samsung info but it also doesn't seem to work.
did you get a disk with your phone?
Bottom left hand side of the bar along the bottom of your screen
It usually has a windows symbol on it - something must happen when you click it. You'll get a menu of things you can do on your PC and on the right you should see the word computer
Question Author
no
no disk?

OK, how about the button?
Question Author
no disk that is.
If you connect the phone to your pc, your pc should recognise it as an extrernal drive.
Go into "my computer", or it might just be "computer". There 'll see various drives all labelled from C onwards.
"System" will prob be "C" then if you've a DVD writer, that will poss be "D". There may or may not be something else under "E". When I connect my phone, it always asigns "F" and "G" to the phone. The reason it uses 2 letters, is 'cos my phone has a memory card, so "F" is for the phone's internal memory and "G" is for the memory card.
Double click on the letter associated with your phone and locate the folder that contains the pictures, etc. Just drag them across and drop them onto your desktop, or wherever is convenient.
Soz for typos in first few lines:
extrernal = external
There 'll see various drives = There will be various drives
My keyboard keeps freezing every now and again :(
Question Author
having a brain freeze moment, have to go, thanks for all advice, just about to throw laptop, phone out the window, have a good day y'all
