the police have called off the search. One thing i found strange was that the reporter on the news this morning said that they had asked one travelling circus, were one of their animals missing. I didn't think circus's had animals anymore...

cirque du soleil doesn't have animals, only humans, doing superhuman feats. Circus's can have trapeze artists, tightrope walkers, ringmaster,
clowns, why do they need to subject some poor animal to perform.
