Just bought the above tablet, does anyone know if it works with a Huawei E367 dongle? does it need a particular app to work or should it work straight out of the box? Many Thanks

Did you buy the 3g or wifi version?

I don't imagine it will work as the dongle is likely to require some PC specific program to get it running (or something non specific like the nokia connection suite) - these will not be available on Android (the OS of the tablet).

Is it any good by the way?
A USB dongle won't work

A MiFi one would though.

You might be able to get a device that does work with the dongle to act as a wifi router for the tablet

thanks for your answers guys...as far as i know the nexus 7 has only a wifi model available at the moment. i have a cheap non branded chinese made android tablet too and that picked up the dongle straight away so i thought this would too using a micro usb to standard usb adapter. i also heard that if the device is rooted it would , but i was wondering if it would out of the box. BTW i have ordered the nexus but it has not arrived yet so i cant test it. Also if it is rooted then you can use a memory stick (the nexus 7 does not have an sd slot).
Ah, maybe it will then Barney.

I stand corrected, there is only Wi-Fi models available.
