For the past few days I have had a pain in my thigh and unable to put weight on it. It is free from pain when resting but as soon as I move it is painful. I have taken nothing for the pain nor rubbed anything into it. Never had anything like this before and is there a connection with the warfarin which I started to take 3 weeks ago and the reading for the blood is now 2.1 but seems the doc would like 2.5 Much obliged for any suggestions

it seems very unlikely. There's not all that much difference between the two readings and 2.5 is probably only a target

Is your thigh swollen?

For what reason are you taking Warfarin?
Question Author
I had a heart attack 2001 and now have the irregular beat . Was taking asprin befor the change over to warfarin . There is no swelling at all and I am not over weight. Taking a statin and Ramerepril daily Spelling not a strong point.
Thanks again
OK, well I agree with bednobs.....I cannot see any relationship with your symptoms and Warfarin.

It COULD be the statin, but that is just a guess.

My advice......monitor the situation for the next few days.
